Flourish
We need reliable, enthusiastic volunteers to sign up to and complete our training, to go into schools on weekdays and deliver the Flourish mental health & wellbeing project. If you’d like to sign up to learn more about volunteering, reach out to sue.eccleshall@kingschurchaberdeen.com
Foodbank
At the moment the foodbank’s biggest need is Biscuits, Tinned Fruit, Tinned Fish, Soup and Tea/Coffee! Please bring any donations to the donation station in King’s Church Coffee Bar. If you’d like to volunteer with us, please email: info@aberdeennorth.foodbank.org.uk
Coffee Bar
Come and visit us in Torry! Our biggest need just now is supporters to visit and see what makes the coffee bar in Torry special! You might even find your new favourite coffee shop (especially when you try one of Lynn’s bakes!)
Seniors Work
Our Soaring Seniors group are about to start meeting bi-weekly, and they need volunteers available on weekdays (probably Friday afternoons) to serve refreshments or play music and mingle with the attendees.
Our Reconnect befriending project is also looking for befrienders to meet weekly or bi-weekly with isolated seniors - days & times are flexible.
Linens for Life
We need creative volunteers! Anyone who likes sewing, painting or creating is welcome. The group repurposes old hotel linen to keep it out of landfill and make a difference in our community. We meet every Wednesday at 6.00pm in The King’s Way Centre.
Snowdrop Café
The Snowdrop Café is a new initiative for people living with palliative health conditions and their carers to drop in for a cuppa and a blether, and receive support and friendship. We’re looking for volunteers & guests! We meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 2-4pm in The King’s Way Centre.
Make an Impact Today
Whether you’re making a one-off gift or signing up for a regular donation, we are so grateful for your kind and generous support. Together we can help people across our communities by serving those in immediate crisis, addressing the root causes of hardship and building a strong, compassionate network of care.
Every donation - no matter the size - makes a real difference and helps someone on their journey toward greater stability, dignity and renewed hope.
